Depends on the tribe you are making it for.
You can use a mold make the same mask and paint them differently.
Fastest way

Oval cut out of cardboard. Slice a pie wedge out of the bottom. So it looks like PAcman. Connect the mouth with tape to close it and it will bow up like a bowl. Spray with black paint. And then work on the design. Use the wedge piece you cut out and make a nose out of it. Check the link
